Research shows that knowing yourself is one of the most important foundational steps towards serving others well. This is the first part of our cultural humility series and a pre-requisite course for many of our other learning experiences. Be prepared for intentional and productive self-reflection, hopefully in a new and interesting context. A great foundation for ongoing and purposeful professional development.
This course consists of 8 – 12 hours of content, depending on how you choose to interact with the course. Modules are designed to be taken as weekly portions of study that should take no more than 2 hours total to complete, with the option to use reflection activities and further reading for advanced learning. This can however be sped up or slowed down to your desired study pace if undertaking learning as an individual.
The module titles below will give you an idea of the curriculum involved. If you want further clarification of course content before enrolment, please email us at education@healthforall.co.nz.
Completing this course with intentionality, a few of us chose to do the course as individuals but collaborate at work between each week of study. We have got to know each other on a level that we never would have before and have a greater appreciation for our uniqueness. I personally have a lot more understanding about my own value system and some of the reasons why.
Great start to this series, I feel like people could do a really deep dive into these topics with the content provided and I think this will be great for our workplace as a group.

There were some really important ‘aha’ moments for me and my team. Some of us have done simple personality tests and stopped reflected on this much at work and yet this course makes you realise there’s so much to knowing yourself that impacts your work.. thanks for great content.
