Welcome to Health for All

Our Founder

Lara Bowering - MISTM MNZPS MPHANZ
Lara's interest in healthcare was solidified while working with landmine victims in the African continent at the age of 17, back in 1999. She has since gained her BSc(Hons) Physiotherapy, postgrad Diploma in Tropical & Wilderness Medicine and Refugee & Migrant Health alongside a MSc in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. These qualifications have helped her work and volunteer on the ground in various roles and various international locations, as well as driven her to strive for excellence in not just the clinical side of her work but also towards policy making within the systems she works under.
Her research has focused on health outcomes as a result of culturally adapted management for NCDs, specifically chronic pain, and she is currently exploring the effects of cultural humility in organisational leadership while completing her DrPH Global Health Leadership.
With learning across multiple countries and in many roles, she hopes her experience will benefit the current and future workforce in healthcare and leadership across the globe, as well as the patients we are all here to serve.
