HEALTH FOR ALL FOUNDATION

 

This foundation was set up in reposnse to the gap in understanding of and access to Allied Health Services in New Zealand and beyond.

               MĀTĀPONO/PRINCIPLES

 

The Trust is committed, in attaining its purposes, to:

 

respecting and implementing the dual heritage of the partners of Te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi);

respecting the cultural diversity of people and encourage people from all nationalities to utilize the Trust’s facilities and services;

working cooperatively with others in the allied health arena and the wider healthcare community; and

maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.

               WHĀINGA/ PURPOSE

The purpose of the Trust will be to encourage and enable individuals to maintain and improve their physical and mental wellbeing.  In particular the Trust will:

 

aid funding of allied health appointments for anyone financially unable to meet the costs of needed treatment that cannot be met by other agencies;

funding education and projects that raise awareness and support the uptake of allied health services

supporting projects to increase uptake and awareness of allied health services in new Zealand and overseas, especially to vulnerable populations at risk of healthcare inequality

provide other support and assistance consistent with this charitable purpose
